Durante la conferencia de prensa posterior a la carrera del Gran Premio de Mónaco, los pilotos compartieron sus impresiones sobre una jornada llena de emociones y desafíos en el circuito más emblemático del automovilismo.
Oscar Piastri reflexiona sobre su desempeño
Al ser cuestionado sobre su actuación, Oscar Piastri expresó: "Sí, obviamente, ganar hubiera sido mejor, pero ha sido un fin de semana algo complicado. Las prácticas fueron desordenadas y llegué a la clasificación sin mucha confianza". A pesar de no haber logrado el primer puesto, se mostró satisfecho con su tercer lugar: "Estoy contento en general. Más puntos para el campeonato y otra visita al podio en Mónaco, así que no está nada mal".
Piastri también comentó sobre su accidente en la curva Sainte Dévote durante las prácticas: "Si este es un mal fin de semana y aún así estoy en el podio, entonces no va tan mal". Reconoció la gran actuación de sus compañeros: "Felicidades a Lando y Charles, han tenido un gran fin de semana".
Charles Leclerc comparte su decepción
Charles Leclerc, quien competía en su Gran Premio local, admitió que no estaba completamente satisfecho con el segundo lugar: "Perdimos la carrera ayer y deberíamos haber hecho un mejor trabajo. Lando hizo un mejor trabajo este fin de semana y merece la victoria". Sin embargo, reconoció que alcanzar el segundo puesto fue una sorpresa positiva dado el rendimiento del equipo antes de la carrera.
Leclerc también habló sobre las tensiones durante la carrera debido a las estrategias de dos paradas: "Tuve que dejar un espacio para Lando para evitar sobrecalentamientos. Lando Norris, ganador del Gran Premio, describió sus sentimientos tras cruzar la meta: "Es increíble. Ha sido una carrera larga y emocionante. La última parte fue tensa con Charles cerca detrás y Max adelante". Norris destacó que ganar en Mónaco era un sueño cumplido desde niño: "Ver la bandera a cuadros aquí es algo que siempre soñé".
A pesar de los desafíos durante la carrera, Norris se mostró satisfecho con su estrategia y ejecución: "Sentí que tenía todo bajo control durante gran parte de la carrera", aunque admitió que tuvo que gestionar bien su distancia con Max Verstappen para evitar sorpresas.
Análisis sobre las estrategias de dos paradas
Piastri coincidió en que las paradas hicieron la carrera más intensa pero sugirió que no cambiaron significativamente los resultados finales entre los líderes. Los tres pilotos coincidieron en que Mónaco sigue siendo un circuito donde las oportunidades para adelantar son limitadas.

Q: Oscar, You came to Monaco obviously for the win. You go away with the podium. You must be pretty happy with that.
Oscar PIASTRI: Yeah. Obviously, the win would have been better, but it’s been a bit of a tricky weekend. Practice was messy all the way through, and I felt like I got into qualifying with not a lot of confidence with how the weekend was going.
Q: Charles, your home Grand Prix. We stood here one year ago celebrating your win. Today, not quite the win, but considering how you felt the car was leading up to this race, reasonably happy?
Charles LECLERC: Not really. But at the end of the day, we lost the race yesterday and we should have done a better job. Lando did a better job this weekend and he deserves the win.
Q: Lando Norris, you just won the Monaco Grand Prix! How good does that feel?
Lando NORRIS: It feels amazing. It’s a long race. It’s a long, rolling race. But good fun.
Q: Lando, very well done. You’ve won the Monaco Grand Prix. Just how sweet was the view from the top of this very unique podium?
LN: Well, all I saw was camera lenses. So, I can dream of better, but it was… I mean, it’s the feelings.
Q: Charles, great race, great weekend by you and Ferrari. Given the season you’ve had so far, just how much pleasure does this P2 give you?
CL: I don’t know. I’m never really happy with second place.
Q: Oscar, coming to you now. Very well done as well. Did the race pan out pretty much as you expected?
OP: Yep. Pretty much exactly how I expected.
Q: Lando, how much confidence does a weekend like this give you going forward?
LN: I think yesterday gave me confidence.
Q: And what about those mandatory two stops? Can we get your thoughts as well?
OP: It definitely made it a bit more tense at a few points.
Q: Charles, can we get your thoughts on the mandatory two stops as well? Would you like to see it back at Monaco next year?
CL: I think being second today, I was pretty happy that this was the case because it at least gives you a little bit more hope that something is possible.

LN: Yeah. What can I do? Nothing. It’s out of my control.
